How Project 816 Works.

Initial Needs Assessment

Each participant begins with a simple assessment to understand their current situation and identify areas where support may be helpful.

This allows Project 816 to focus resources where they can have the greatest impact.

Areas may include:
• emotional healing support
• housing transition
• financial stability
• rebuilding confidence and independence

Healing Support First

Project 816 believes that lasting stability begins with healing.

Participants are connected with trusted partner organizations and programs that provide trauma-informed healing support and personal growth resources.

Project 816 does not provide therapy or counseling directly, but helps connect women with organizations that specialize in this work.

Participants may also join Project 816 programs, such as:

• Design Your Calm Journal Circles
• Healing Forward Retreats
• Supportive reflection workshops

Six-Month Progress Check

After an initial period of healing and personal progress, participants can complete a follow-up assessment.

This step helps determine readiness for additional support designed to help women rebuild stability and independence.

Stability Support

When participants are ready, Project 816 may provide limited financial assistance designed to help women regain stability.

Support may include:

• initial housing or relocation assistance
• essential living needs during transition
• tools that help create forward momentum

This support is intended to help women rebuild safely and sustainably, while continuing to engage in healing support programs.

Corporate Sponsorship Program

Project 816 partners with organizations that want to support the well-being and stability of their workforce.

Through the Corporate Sponsorship Program, companies can contribute $25,000 to support Project 816 programs and resources.

These contributions help fund:

• healing programs and retreats
• stability support for women rebuilding their lives
• community programs that promote long-term independence

Corporate partners demonstrate a commitment to supporting women and families during times of transition and rebuilding.

Closing Statement

At Project 816, we believe healing and stability go hand in hand.

By focusing on healing first and stability second, we help women design a calmer future and build lasting independence.
